Price of Gas Dropping?

Has anyone noticed a drop in the price of gasoline yet?

I've heard on the news it could drop below $2 a gallon in the U.S..

A price war by major oil producers is at hand.

Bad news for investors but great news for consumers . . . IMHO.

The thing is that it makes me wonder what kind of adjustments will be made along the logistical supply chain. In the long run will it be a good thing? or bad thing? . . . all things considered.

Hopefully it won't open the flood gates on the sale of more "gas guzzlers" and be detrimental to the environment.

It's just some infighting at OPEC. I don't foresee the oil prices staying low for long.

I understand that it is an oil war between Russia and OPEC.

$1.79 SHELL this morning - straight price , no coupons.
(I remember a GULF station in Mass. that gave a free car wash if you bought $3 or more.
I had to coast into the station, or put a little on the ground next to my '71 Beetle to get that wash!)

I just paid $2.49 a gallon for Shell Regular 87 Octane (91 RON).

That's down around 20 cents a gallon or so . . ..

There was a lot less traffic. I guess without any meetings or activities to attend or restaurants being closed that could have something to do with it. It truly is strange.

Remember when it was just common place to walk in and order a meal somewhere?.
