YSS front fork upgrade kit

My understanding is that the yss kit is for threaded forks only and the USA spec pcx uses circlips instead. I have read that there might be two versions of the kit. I have also read online that someone people ordered it and only the threaded kit arrived. Can someone please clarify this?

Looks to me like they only have the threaded kit for the 2017 and previous models. The 2018-19 kits show a circlip. Maybe those for the older models?
I'm in the same spot as you.

I have not read all of the threads concerning the front fork upgrades but there are quite a few.

Here is one of the threads. Hopefully it will have some answers for you.

Good news, I ordered the YSS kit for the 2019 model with the cir-clip and it should work. I just took apart the front forks and everything matches up.

Because quarantine, I have only ridden my scooter a couple of times, but my first impressions are very positive. They feel more controlled on rough roads and don't bottom out as easily as they used too. They also match the valving of the rear YSS shocks.

I do need to clarify though that the stock shocks served me well for about 30,000 miles. For most of those miles I commuted to school, 50 mile round trip, and some Sunday rides. The suspension didn't annoy me until I started delivering food with my scooter. Now 70 miles or so, but on rough streets, was more tiring. That's the main reason that I upgraded my suspension, because it annoyed me now. I do wish that I would of upgraded my suspension years ago though. Now short rides are more pleasing. If your budget allows go for it.
