pitting/dirty swingarm (silver bit)

Hi

Just given my PCX a decent clean (after some horrific weather) and I've noticed the silver swingarm (or whatever it is called) behind the exhust is very dirty and I can't remove the dirt/marks from it.

The can be removed using WD40 and a scotch pad - but it's a pain to reach and clean it completely.

Any tips to help remove the marks or stop it getting like it. My bike is washed often - no marks anywhere else on it except the silver bracket behind exhust.

Thanks in advance

John

Look into buying a flexible tire brush. Meant to get inside your wheels. A good one from autogeek is a Daytona speedmaster brush.

This is one of those tools that may seem expensive, but it’s not, after you find yourself using it 50 times for different things…

Once you get it clean, a wipe on ceramic should keep the dirt from penetrating the surface, like CquartzUK.
