What is expected mileage for the rear tire on this model? Seems like they are a frequent maintenance item. The center is smooth but sides still have gooves. Inflation psi good ??

I got my Forza 300 used and replaced the stock Dunlops early. I had wanted a better sportier ride and went with Pirelli Diablos and got about 7500 miles out of the rear which is expected for that type of tire- soft and sporty. I have played with PSI a little to get the best ride and I think Honda nailed it for under a 200 pd rider at 25/29 PSI.

Think I used to get 6000-7000 out of a ScootSmart rear.
A policy I adopted at each rear tyre change time was to fit new rear brake pads and exhaust connector gasket, saved on gaskets and made sure the pads didn't wear out.

I have gone through 8 1/2 rear tires in 122,000 km (75,800 miles) averaging about 14,000 km (9000 miles) per tire.

Tires are not cheap in Canada and I have not bought the cheapest tires either. I do completely wear out most of them, too much sometimes.

Changing tires is a real nuisance on the Forza. I need to do it again really soon.

I have a Heidenau K66 front tire on order from Fortnine in Montreal. It might get here next week. Canada is a big country.

My current front tire, K66, has 24,000 km (15,000 miles) on it. It was the tire I went to the Yukon with. The dirt bike tread was great.

It was put on during April of last year. It has a funky wear pattern. It looks more like a knobby now than when I put it on.

I might run the tire for a few more months, quit when I see the carcass!
