Kilometers on tires

Hello I am new here and I think I am here to stay.
So I live in Greece and I have the 12/2016 model and I think it is time to change the tires. But I am not sure if I should do it now or at October. They are not slippery for most situations and have 7000 or (a year of use) kilometers on them.
I use Michelin city grip and I love them on wet/dry roads.
What you do suggest? Also what is he safe kilometers the change the tires beside when they get slippery?

There are wear indicators (small lumps) in the tread grooves, when the tyre gets down level with these its time for a new tyre.

Your'e still okay at 7000 kms. Gn2 is correct, watch the wear indicators in your tires.

Thanks for the replies. But, is there a number? In sites of manufacturers it says 5 years but that applies for cars right; I went through manual and it says for the mark but I couldn't find it. I'll look at the tyres and I will come back.

The rear tire will wear out about twice as fast as the front tire. Use that as your gauge.
On the Michelin City Grip tire the pattern looks like arrows going toward the middle of the tire. About every other arrow, if the tire is worn enough, you will see a small "bridge" of rubber across one of the arrows close to the center area. That is your wear indicator. It is possible to wear the tire down enough to eliminate that indicator too, but then your tire will be slick in the center. Look for the indicator on your front tire first, so that you will be familiar with what the indicator looks like. Then check for it on that rear tire. 7,000 miles is about the time for replacement of your rear tire.

Notice that I said 7,000 MILES, not kilometers. At 7,000 kilometers you would only have around 4350 miles on the tire. That is about half of its life.

I put one on my '16 Forza last year. I could not get a City Grip that was the right size. It feels fine and appears to be holding up well, but I am not putting that many miles on it, and I don't ride aggressively.

Hello again.
So i finally changed them because i noticed a lot of slipping. I still didnt found any arrows besides the ones on photo. At the tyre shop they told me companies no longer put arrows which indicates wear and in generally they need every 2 years change. It costed 120 euros 133.8018 U.S. dollars.

I thought I would help you with pictures. My Michelins are almost brand new, so I had a time finding a wear marker.
The first picture, if you look closely, shows the faint outline of the wear marker. It becomes prominent when the tire wears out.

I have photos of the new tyres. They scratched my rims and i saw it now.
Can i do smth about it ?
Also the tyres are 2 years and 4 months old. Is it ok?

The rim looks OK. That may be paint of some sort on it, but it doesnt look bent. You might be able to clean that scratch up, but if not, I wouldn't worry about it. As for the tires, I don't see anything wrong with them. They don't look dry rotted and it looks like, from the top picture, that you still have good tread left.
Is the bottom picture the same tire?? That one looks like it is a bit worn and may need replacing soon.

It's actually metal that looks like paint, that is scratched . These tyres are brand new. I couldn't upload all my photos. The upper is the back wheel and the 2nd is the front wheel.
Is the bottom picture the same tire?? That one looks like it is a bit worn and may need replacing soon.

Get some touch up paint on the rim scratch, its a minor ding but corrosion will spread if you don't get it painted.

My Diablo rear is pretty much shot, at about 6,500 miles. I ordered the Pirelli Angel this time, hopefully I can get 8k to 10k out of this less sporty tire.

Today was the 1st day with my Angel Scooter tires, they replaced my Diablos. I put over 200 miles on them, all in one day.
The Verdict is ________ I like the Diablo line better, I stand by what I have said before. The Diablos are unbeatable in feel and grip. I only went with the Angels due to not being in the stock
Forza rear size. Def going back to Diablos after it gives out in 8k to 10k.

A Forza may be different than a PCX in handling, or there may not be a City Grip in the recommended size.
For the PCX, I believe the Michelin City Grip is one of the best tires you can use. In fact, I believe that the new PCX comes from the factory with them now. I can't speak for everyone else, but I have them on both of my 2013 models and I wouldn't have any other brand.
