It seemed like a nice day to ride, so I took my little PCX out for leisure ride. After 30 minutes I pulled into a Dunkin Donuts, ordered some iced coffee and sat in the A/C to try to dry my shirt! Dang, I didn't thing 90° F was THAT hot! Then I checked what the weather app said about it. High humidity... real feel is 100°. I was soaked. Had to go home and change my shirt. Then I rolled my wife's bike out so that I can wash it. Forget it! Had to change shirt again before I even got the washing supplies together! Maybe tomorrow.

Speaking of riding in the heat, I had some jerk go around me on my right... in a BMW... in an intersection... while I was in the far right lane... one car length from the car in front of me because the light had just changed to green. Maybe the heat brings out the jerks too. Not a good mix.

Oh that Georgia heat . . . I remember it well . . ..

Andersonville, Atlanta, Greensboro, The Reynolds Plantation golf course and housing development, Madison, Stone Mountain, Lake Oconee and more were places I remember as hot and humid. But despite that it was still reasonably easy to get around there back then. And don't forget those ant hills (mounds) and lizards climbing up the walls looking for bugs. Oh yeah . . . I remember Georgia.

Peaches and boiled peanuts. Good stuff! Pine trees galore and pecan pie . . .. :D

Hang in there Mel. The idiots and stupid arrogant people are in abundance. Keep your rear view mirrors clean and ride to survive. You are not alone!

It's been hot up here too. Hottest on record I think . . . in about 150 years. I was going through two changes of clothing a day in July. One for chores and one for leisure. Unbelievable . . .. The humidity was the main thing.

Ride on!!! 8)
