What is your plan?

I did a variator face, DR p sliders 14g and one more thing,. I changed the 54 tooth gear in the tranny to a 53 from a 2013 PCX150. It works. I'm getting 7 more MPH with this total set up. Am trying different things now. will get a performance variator and try that just for kicks. Have built other scooters over the years--big bore- changed trans ratios etc, but wanted to keep this one basically stock and not high strung like some of my other builds. Just havin fun is all.
Remember to try a fresh belt if u want to absoultely top out your setup.

I've had 12,13,16,18g weights. 12-16 is the sweet spot. but 13 me likes a lot. =)

How much time did it take you to swap the gear out? You had to pull the motor correct? I haven't even looked into it, but would be nice to get a couple more out of my 2015.

Oh I'd like more speed as well, but I'm a little twitchy about messing with the motor itself.

Wouldn't a big bore kit be an easy fix though?

Best thing about this little scooter is, mods are relatively cheap compared to supersports.

The available gear up kits change one or the other gears in the final drive back by the rear wheel. But I think anyone can get enough longer gearing by changing the variator.

Did not swap over the pod filter yet, and not sure if I'm going to...it just adds so much extra noise. I may eventually try it, but would like to put some time in the saddle and try out a few hills in the area that I'm familiar with on my 2013 to see what it's capable of in comparison to my 2013, maybe give the motor a bit more time to break in. Also, and a BIG also (at least to me) is the fact that the 2015 has a larger battery! It's 6lbs vs 4 1/4 lbs or so. SO, I saved 5lbs by swapping in the LiIon battery I had in my 2013! It also means that while the OEM 2015 battery will fit in the 2013, it's too large to be able to put the battery cover over it as the battery is about an inch taller. Curious why they thought the 2015 needed a larger battery.

I can also confirm that the 2015 has 16g sliders vs. the stock 18g sliders that the 2013 had. I chopped the fender, and also pulled off the centerstand. =)
Thanks for clarifying this. I know (experience) that the older 125's don't mix with the 2013 150 exhausts. Great to hear the 2014/15> exhausts fit the same as the older 150. You just saved me some interesting email exchanges with web-bike Japan with use of google translator.

I'd probably otherwise have ended up with a set of fork gaiters for an Enfield after that conversation.

On my 2015 PCX 150 with currently 607 miles (it's currently going through its maintenance at the dealership), the top speed I reached was 64MPH, no matter if I was on a flat surface or going down hill with the throttle wide open. I bought the 13g rollers and NCY parts linked in this thread as I'd like 70MPH at the very least since I do quite a bit of highway on the weekends. I thought 64MPH was such an odd number for my scoot to top at until I found this thread, looks like this is the normal for the 2015, can't wait to change that :)
