Yeah, we had the first rain since January, albeit a few minutes only. Cooling down a bit, at night "freezing" 30 centigrades.

We had several hours of snow here in Kansas City yesterday. It stayed above freezing though so none of it stuck and nothing was put on the roads. It was nice for a change.

Snow missed us! Snow & Hurricane winds struck north of us. We had 50mph winds here for 24 hours. Well that's in the past now.
But wait! It's the weekend!
New report: Today rain, tomorrow, rain. As in Steady rain. As in soaking wet rain. Bad cold, staying in.
Wondering.. Why so many geese this year? Them/Their turds are everywhere! Look like doggie poo.

Land of the Abominable Snowman
3.31.14 and This is Not Normal! Sorry! After a full 2 days of heavy rain over the weekend, I wake up to this Monday morning
I've had a friggin' cold going on 8 days. Anybody missing snow? Switzerland perhaps? Come and get it!
Really, it can't be All Ours!!

My kids are in the Niagara Falls / Buffalo area and they got that overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. I guess it just took a bit to get to you on L O N G Island.

Sorry Whitenoise. All of our snow finally melted over the weekend. We've haven't seen the ground since before Christmas. The temperature was in the 60's yesterday but now they are back down into the mid 40's. I hope it melts quickly.

White is gone. All 6" of it that ya seen above...gone.
Today (Thurs.) a Big Round yellow object (?) hovered above. Kinda reminded me of what ya'll call the Sun 
Hard to look at, so it might've been just that! I walked around outside to feel for heat. I wiped my brow. I checked my temp gauge in my truck. Really? 53 degrees? Hmm...gotta be T.H.E. SUN
Do Ya Think? Went to Nursing Home. Mom agreed, must be "T h e" Sun.
There ya go, I did see And feel it. I'm with ya'll on this Sun thang now.......
EXCEPT!!! It's doing the nasty, Frick Frackin' Raining out now as I type! Believe me? How can you doubt me? I can record this crap. You want morning, noon, or night version? Pick! It will continue through the night enter into tomorrow and stay put spitting down the remainder of the day! What was that I said about "The" Sun? Fagetaboutit! Gonesville! Those homes yonder are Not on stilts, only deck supports.
Thank you for kind words on quality of pic. It was taken through my back sliding glass doors using my Galaxy S4 phone as the shite white fell (I'm liking this phone...A lot).
Good chance the snow blew in from the falls, it was totally unexpected by Long Islanders and our weather idiots (oops, far from being nice. (Smacks own hand).
If it's okay with the world and those on board here, I'd appreciate a wee bit more sunny comfort. Can that be had? Ya got any yella glitter that ya can paste on a Big styrofoam ball that I could hang like a planet outside my door (there's a hook somewhere looking for something to dangle). Might work,

We had 1 1/2" of snow on Monday. I looked out today and it's all gone. Next week here in Chicago, warmer near 70° and raining.

The weather has been so unpredictable everywhere.
It happened. Freezing temps, cold gusty winds & snow mixed with sleet early this morn. Not much, thin layer...icy. Freezing again tonight. Me phalanges are about to snap.
