If you didn't run it for a few minutes after putting the fuel stabilizer in, the fuel in the fuel lines to the engine probably had old gas in them. Otherwise, I'm with Fiah's theory.

ya the fact that you got it to start at all means ur battery is probably fine. Also, you could have put too much fuel stabilizer in, or topped off the tank too high. My PCX will cough and stall if I fill it with fuel to the very brim. It goes away after a bit.

If its started and stopped a few times without warming it up it may get gassed up. Basically it's flooded by to much fuel sitting in the combustion chamber, giving the spluttering when you started it.

It may have been too much fuel stabiliser then lol. Ive done about 40 miles on the tank, and the bottle said it treats 10 litres, i put half the bottle in. I let it run for a good while afterwards anyway.

I rode the Buddy in yesterday, it was 33 degrees Fahrenheit. It's warmer today, but I had to drive our Pilot, I have to move some servers between buildings and the PCX isn't quite capable of carrying thousands of pounds of computer.

I'll probably ride the PCX in tomorrow, it's supposed to be 50+ F all day.

No idea, the weather here's bipolar. It's 69 degrees F right now, it'll stay warm until Friday. Then, if it rains, it'll probably drop to the mid-30's again, otherwise it'll stay warm. Then, it'll rain again and be warm. Weather's strange.

Was low 27f -high 50f For a few days last week, but now is back to normal temps of 60-75f. Another cold front on the way and then back to warmer weather. I'll take this over the 90 plus days this year with temps over 100F. Much tougher to ride in the summer than the winter here.

I could see that, at temps that high, heat stroke is a real threat.

It's 50 degrees F today, was in the mid 60's yesterday. I was going to go on a scooter ride with a group of folks from around here, but I got caught up at a friend's house and missed them. I'm kinda glad I did, it had dropped below freezing by the time I got home.

AGH, the cold hit hard. It's 20 degrees F today.

We had low 30's this morning, but a comfy 60's on the ride home.

Weather has been really weird here. Its usually the coldest time of the year, but the high today was 79!

We're supposed to get some of that warmth over here on the East coast this weekend, it's supposed to go back into the 70's. Weird weather.

Totally weird... For the last 2 months its been below 55 on my ride home. Last night it was 71 degrees at 1am. That is MAY weather here.

Last night was a beautiful and clear, by 7am this morning the mercury was bottomed out at 19f (-7C)
That's the coldest it's been for a while round here.

I am not riding at all today, there'll be loads of black ice about all day - simply not worth the risk on either my scoots or Mountain bikes.

ah bummer. I got a ticket last week for street sweeping. I ran into the post office and didnt bother/remember looking at the signs. I was in the wrong and deserved the ticket, but I swear the parking enforcement people in LA are like ninjas, because I was inside for no more than 5 min and there was not a trace of them! $74 bucks for a scooter on the wrong side of the street for 5 min... Its not like I would have had a hard time finding legal parking on a scooter but thats what I get for being mindless that day.
