My oldest in the last photo wants to get her licence to start on a 50cc Honda and work up from there. The other one is also excited to ride but will have a couple of years.
Photos below... One of our rabbits died in their sleep yesterday. We took him up to a beautiful meadow to lay him yo rest. My daughter was so brave. I am proud of her.

Little day trip to Fairy Lake. Nice place to heat up some soup and coffee. Next time I bring my heated vest. The weather was nice but a tad cool when out of the sun.

Let's Buy It!

Ante-up
In answer: You're looking across the Long Island Sound at Greenwich, Connecticut.
Connecticut boasts some of the first and largest Casinos in America, like Foxwoods Resort and Casino, another is Mohegan Sun.
More Fun!!
Today I wish I could afford living Anywhere in the Bayville area or it's sibling towns.
All Beautiful. Period.
I grew up not too far away. Back then I'd ride my single speed peddler from morning till dinner and got lost many a time. No GPS. Just me and the Sun

Yes, Sag Harbor is a beautiful spot!!
I vacationed there as a child. We also spent summers in Southold, Three Mile Harbor, The Hamptons, Montauk and its' Point. Some of the Best Days of my life!
My Uncle would meet us with his 1960's Owen's Cabin Cruiser. The days when Cruiser's were mahogany wood, not fiberglass. A beauty.
Looked like this Owens 1963 28 footer (but his was a bit bigger and slept 4-6 people).

Love that boat, I had a 20 foot lap strake runabout with all mahogany seats and dashboard. I remember it well. Fiberglass was some new space age material just coming out. I spent my summers working for the Long Island Park Commission at Jones beach.. Lifeguard.. loved that job and that beach..

Out this past Sunday, what a glorious day! I love you nimble good lookin' WN! It's You n Me 150

Confession, I broke the speed limit. Oooo by quite a few mph! Like 20 over. I dunno, folks must've been eating their earlier Sunday dinners traffic was soo light. Anywho I felt this rush come over me and the stars must've been aligned and me scoot was Right There!

I instantly pulled the throttle without a thought about the limit. Up went the digits! FUN! Tut-tut, Bad bad...I know. But hell-o...it felt Grrrreat!
I also tried to beat out a Red light but it nipped in the butt and changed. Shite! I ran a Red! Another no-no! As I moved on I wondered if a Camera caught me. Yikes! We have that here. I'd better turn around and check them poles. So I did. I didn't want to think about an $80.00 ticket coming in the mail. Yey! NO cameras. NO police officers. Gotta be My Day.
Speaking of police officers, they were gathered down the road aways, their lights were flashing like a Circus was in town. Something bad happened I thought. I Slowly rolled by. So many were there. More were on the way, I heard them. Sad right? Funny how that stays with you. It did. I hope everyone was alright.
Anywho, it was a perfect late afternoon ride. I rode to a marina to look at all the lovely vessels when a young chap walked over and asked about WN. He loved her, he wanted her...(I could tell

He said he owned several manual bikes in the past and his last a 50cc scooter, a Zuma. It was his fav, he said. I could tell he wanted to hop on and ride off into the sunset with me left behind holding his soda pop. Instead I told him that one day he may own another scoot. He shook his head no. I said yes, it might just happen. Then I rolled away. He listened. Off to the next town, they call it Babylon. By the water of course

soo much of it around this Island. The water was rocky and it was so w i n d y! The salt water was splashing up over the rocks and the mist hit WN. She rolled away. No salt for me bike.
A wedding was going on, the photographer was taking pics. I wanted to ride closer. I refrained. That would Not be Cool. So I talked to a few folks some parked gazing at the sea while others fished. I spotted a guy waxing his F150 truck in the lot. Struck me Funny. I pulled up checked out the ski doos zipping by and he stared wondering what I was riding. Yep we got to talking about the scoot, his truck, my truck etc, then I asked if he'd take me a pic. Sure, he said with a big Sunday smile? Nice guy.
So here's me Quick Pic of that Day

and What a Day it was!

Not exactly a pic, and not really true, but I did find it amusing. I found it on another scooter site.
