It's 52 F already at 10:00am. :) I will have to shed some winter wear and go to the lighter gloves today. If it was like this all of the time I couldn't afford to live here.

@SECoda - Still foot of snow on the ground here. 2 wheeled vehicles are grounded. :(

My brother has been snowmobiling his heart out up in Wisconsin although he said it is 36 today and melting. :? It just hit 61 F here but my daughter made me finish her taxes for her refund first. :D I am getting ready to head out on the scoot in a few. I saw a lot of cycles out already this morning when we were driving to IHOP.

Nice! It was 11C/52F at 10:30pm last night and we were between two rain systems when my wife asked me to grab something at a store. It was fantastic being able to ride in a light jacket and jeans with light gloves. Wore my modular helmet open too. We're heading back towards more seasonal weather but it was great.

I used to love winter. I can still tolerate it. It just makes me appreciate summers that much more. At least it very rarely dips below freezing here. But we are the most expensive place in Canada to live, and among the most expensive in the world. We live in the suburbs because the average single home price in the east side of City of Vancouver is a very unaffordable $880k.

Just got back from a 115 mile trip to the Big River down south. Will post a few pictures later. I had to undress half way there - it hit 70 F. o_O o_O o_O

Wow. That stinky groundhog. :D We only had a high of 27 on Thursday and a low of 10.

Our official high hit 71 today but down to a high of only 60 :P tomorrow and then a cool off during the week. I must have seen over 30 bikes which is a ton around here.

Living in Phuket Thailand, I've never worn anything but a t-shirt and shorts. I never drove a bike till I got here so I guess I'll pass on an answer. Currently 33, that's 93 degrees, always cool at night 24/74. My wife wants to see snow when I finally take her back to the US next year. I told her it's overrated.

I was raised with two Polaris snowmobiles SW of Chicago in the 60s and 70s. It sure seemed like we had a ton of cold temps and snow back then. I used to build a toboggan slide out of snow on our big hill to the road. Sometimes we would run a hose down the paved driveway (250 feet long) and make it pure ice for sled wars when my dad agreed to park at the bottom and walk up. A local county park had giant toboggan runs (Swallows Cliffs) that had electronic gates. Now I only see my brother snowmobiles on an occasional winter visits but it seems lately the urge has gone when I look at his weather reports.

Here 300 miles south we have to go a temp controlled ice rink to even skate.

They said on the news we beat the record high set in 1943 by 2 degrees at 71 degrees. I guess they had global warming back then too. (anyone else see that the new report on the data used in studies to determine global warming was all adjusted up and the have the evidence? - So the scientists aren't wrong - they were just given manipulated data o_O ).

Supposed to be 10 F tonight and windy.
Should be right bracing for my 5:30AM ride to work tomorrow.
This little EFI'd Kymco fires instantly, with a perfect idle on these cold starts. I do appreciate this good cold weather behavior.
