Big N'or Easter coming to New England tomorrow. Rain and Wind. What's not to like? Snapping tree limbs, lawn furniture and debris roaming neighborhoods powered by 60 MPH winds, power outages, snowing leaves (trees are still relatively full with leaves and heavy. . .not much color around here yet), extremely high tides, and more!

Nothing compared to what those poor souls are suffering in Florida right now but sort of a big deal for these parts. . .. o_O

WN - batten down the hatches and secure the rigging . . . ice pellets forecast early in the storm. . .it's going to be a doozie!

Overnight it went from beautiful weather with leaves changing in the trees, to raining and yucky, with lots of leaves on the ground and on the roads. So much for fun riding.

^^ Freezing you say? Not my choice temp but if you can manage it Scott then Cheers mate! Enjoy and keep the radar on ice patrol.

Okay. It's Raining...heavily!
All day, all night into tomorrow.
Possible thunderstorm, and 50mph gusts.
Sad, Fall leaves are Falling fast. Today streets look like runways of leaves covered with a thin coat of varnish. Slip n Slide.

Ride Sunday. Period.

WN - more of the same on this side of the Sound.

Rain is fading out though. Expect just significant wind by noon with maybe a slight chance of a stray light shower this afternoon. Definitely not a good day to be on the scooter. Now is the time to charge up the cell phones or battery operated devices just in case of power outages. ;)

While California is having their fires, we are getting all of the rain. Weather predictions: Rain on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We should be flooding by then.

Concerning the fires in California, there is a town in the hills name Paradise. It is now 90% burned up. My father and his mother (my grandmother) lived there until close to their time to leave this earth. It was a small, quiet retirement community.
29 confirmed dead, hundreds unaccounted for. There is only one road in and out of that town, and it is through the forest that is on fire. My prayers are for those people right now.

I also have kids in Los Angeles where there is another fire going on. They don't live where the rich do, so their homes aren't threatened right now, but there is a lot of smoke.

We've had 55 degrees today in Scotland which means that I'll have a nice 4 hr round trip tomorrow to get my Forza serviced.

30 degrees F. here today and overcast.

Snow due this afternoon. A few inches possible along our coast. It will melt by tomorrow though with rising temps into the 40's and rain.

Nope. . .no scoot ride for me today. Not yet acclimated to the colder temps enough yet. It's been warm for a long time this year and the cold has arrived rather suddenly. My cut off point is 40 degrees F. for now. 8)
