These are great, but very different to the 'English muffins' that McDonalds do.

What exactly do you Americans expect when you order and 'English muffin'?
They were great yes, but I swear I could feel my waistline expanding whilst eating one!

I've never tried McD's English muffins. Do they sell them in UK McD's?

I'm just glad we lost Mumford & Sons along the way. ;)

Well...Once Upon a Time I enjoyed Thomas' English Muffins with all it's "nooks & crannies"

Then whilst shopping one day I discovered another brand: "Bays English Muffins"
Since then I've been butterin' them up. Soo much better tastin' ;)
image.jpeg
Try one toasted with tuna salad. Melt on some yellow cheese (american, cheddar.....yer choice) place sweet pickle slices and Fritos (original) or Dipsy Doodles (original) on the side.

Enjoy!! (emoticon licks lips) :P
What kind of Savage are you? o_O They are supposed to be eaten with egg and bacon or plain butter.
I had to look up Fritos and Dipsy's. But I still can't get over tuna and pickles with a muffin. My childhood destroyed! :|
Now you're about to get raked back into the monachy you're going to have to learn how to eat proper.
Haha! Taste buds turning on now chicaboo? You've heard the sayin' "Try it, you'll like it" haven't ya? There's truth in that!
Sure I've enjoyed an english muffin buttered up, egged on with cheese/bacon bits atop. Yummy.
I want to try Dunkin Donut's version sometime. I hear they make a mean breakfast and their coffee is "the beans!" :D Morning, wake up! dig in!
Signed, Muffin Savage

If you’ve taken our muffins the least you can do is take the Monarchy of our hands. Dimwitted bunch of scroungers.

No no no! Not eating any of that shown above! I saw the videos. I saw their faces! They were twisted and seemed to scream...."ICK!"

But....
I'll add that
Growing up our Austrian Grandmother made us Lekvar Prune Butter Cookies, Strudel, and Lekvar French Toast Sandwiches. All may sound a bit unappealing but actually they were all Delicious.
But....looking at it? In the jar? As a child? Ewww....Not so appealing.
Then we did the nose clipped taste test :D Surprise! Yummy!!

How to make:
Mix an egg or two with milk. Quickly dunk 2 slices of white bread in the egg/milk mixture, shake off all excess. Carefully place the Lekvar prune butter on one slice, then Cover it with the other. Voila!
A sandwich is born! Now place yer sandwich in a hot buttered frying pan (Not in burnt butter) and sizzle her up to your color choice. I like mine with crispy burnt edges ;) Remove from pan. Slice sandwich on an angle or in four. Dust with some confectionary sugar and Serve. Enjoy!

Thanks Grandmother!

Here are pics of some other yummy Lekvar items she made (sorry, no pic of sandwich found on the web)

Prune butter?? Sounds like something that competition cyclists apply to prevent chafing.

Marmite is passable. Think twiglets. Veginamite is truly disgusting.

Yum! Just bought some here in Florida last week. I love it spread lightly on toast with scrambled eggs on top. Grew up in Bristol eating it that way. Also, Marmite 'fingers' to dip in your soft boiled egg!
