Aside from winter, I think you will find that you can ride your new bike just about any time of the year there. While it is parked for the winter you might consider getting a Battery Tender Jr., and plugging it into the battery. In fact, you should add the leads that come with it so that your Battery Tender can be plugged into it with very little effort.

With the weather here in Michigan being as cold as it is, there are some icy patches to be found on the roads. Mel, I do have it on a CTEK (56-864) MUS 4.3 12 Volt Fully Automatic 8 Step Battery Charger.

As for the color, it is the dark blue.

I didn't plate it at this time and will do that in the spring. I did take it down the road a couple of times and I have to say that it does have some nice zip to it. As for options, I did get the key lock, the taller windshield and the lock box on the back. As for tires, it came with IRC tires.

I have to say that it is a quiet running scooter, which I like. Now I have the winter to consider a helmet, gloves etc. in time for next spring. So far, I'm very pleased with it and think that it'll be just the ticket for me to run small errands and such with.

Many thanks to everyone for all the answers to my questions. I'll work on getting a pic posted.

So I'm finding out that a person I was hoping to do a few rides with next summer has a Burgman 400. Am I going to be able to keep up with this big dog on my PCX, or is he going to laugh at me and send me and my PCX home?

You got a bike now-enjoy. I remember watching a bunch of dogs running past my window-everything from a Saint Bernard to a Dachshund were included in the group and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I'm sure you and your friend are going to have a great time.

Not a chance.

If he's any kind of sensible he'll let you lead and follow at your pace.
