Poor guy! I am sure that he collected some items from his trip that are not replaceable. At almost 40K miles on the bike it probably was going to have to have a few other things replaced soon enough, but otherwise he seemed to have managed very well on his trip. It is too bad that some people who have no regard for other people spoiled his trip. I wonder where he will find another top box like that one he had on his original scooter. That was some box!

I've had mine from new since the beginning of June this year, and only have 550 miles on it. I've just done the first oil change as the mileage will start to increase steeply when I start a new job.

Mines a 2016 with 12,000 bought it last June with 1200 miles on it. It's in need of a clutch bearing now.

I think it is common for the bearing to get noisy. A lot of people have needed to change them out. Mine is making a racket

Just under 10,000 miles now, mine is a 2011 but, so far everything seems to be running great, my front tire is a little old, but otherwise seems pretty great. If I don't trade it in, I will keep using it as my standard commuter, but that is only going to be about 3-4K miles a year unless I get a different job.

My PCX is more than a month old. Had its first service 2 days ago.

450 km on the odometer. Average fuel consumption was 47.2 km/l. I think I averaged 75 km/h.

Sorry for the dirts on my photo.

What engine oil do you use? My mechanic told me to come every 2,000 km or every 3 months for an oil change. On the first service, I was told to change the final gear oil which according to the manual (checked after came back from service) should only be changed after 2 years.

I'm just using the oil from Honda

Manual says change every 6000 kms, so I really not gonna argue with it. As long as the oil level is at the recommended level, which i make sure to check every month, i dont really give it much thought until it's time to change again.

But changing often surely will not hurt your bike ;)

Changing the gear oil at first 500 kms is ideal, as well as the first engine oil. After that initial 500kms, you can either follow the manual or change as often as your mechanic recommend. In my opinion

Ok, mine have the same "Jaso MB" certification which should be the same quality. I'll wait until 6,000 km then.
