In fact, in the right hands, a sandy corner can be fun.

edit
My work truck at 715 this morning showed a temp of 21 below zero F
but it was a dry cold

I rode dirt bikes awhile, it definitely helps. I'm very familiar with the concept of controlling lost traction... But still, it's completely different to lose traction on the street.
That's REALLY cold. It's 20F above zero here today. Icy as hell.

Still haven't put that Dunlop on yet?

Looks like snow white will need all the traction she can get.

People laugh when they see that we are having problems with what they perceive as a little snow. What you are looking at in Dave's picture is actually just plane ICE. It is still coming down. The sun umbrella on my back porch finally couldn't take it a little while ago and bent the frame that supports it. I lifted the umbrella while my wife put some supports between it and the iron porch railing, but the umbrella now weighs a good 80 pounds on the canopy, all ice! My driveway slopes down, sort of like Dave's but a little steeper. Forget going up it if you go down. Our whole street is a 1 inch thick ice bed. People up North get snow. We get this CR#p!

Brother in Law just bought this today (he's in Florida). Gas powered not electric. Claims it goes faster. Yamaha.
Arg! "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" written across the front!
Whatever floats your boat! Hmm...buying that next (most likely)

It was raining here about 4 hours ago, but I just got in from clearing about 5 inches of snow from the sidewalk and driveway. The fun part is that there is 6 or 7 more inches of snow coming and then it is going to get cold again. Thank you polar vortex.

Well, we went for another ride today. It was 70 out again. Spring is trying to get here. I think I read that there is a cold front coming again, but Spring is really trying to get here...honest!

logepoge, may I recommend the little 12V airpump from wallyworld (unless you meant to keep at home). It was about $25 when I bought it last year. Comes in it's own tiny carry case, has a gauge built in.
It even fits in my glove box with plenty room to spare. I got it and a tire patch kit for emergency use. Have only used it to help an older couple with a flat on their airstream, so I know it works. Just a little slow.
