Today I put some Reflectix (
https://www.reflectixinc.com/ ) under the cover. I had lots of scraps around the house so I didn't have to spend any money. It's like 2 layers of bubble wrap. It helped a little. I took the scooter out for about 15 miles, and it felt much better. Not as good as the Kawasaki Voyager or BMWs I used to own, but not bad. I got it up to about 63 downhill with a big truck on my tail. I could have pushed it a little faster, but 63 was fast enough. Gassed it up and got 96 mpg this tankful.

Free is always good, but I don't see any elasticity in the product. I think you can do better. Your butt will be eternally grateful.

I'm still tinkering with this seat and I'm getting there. I hacked off those two humps (see photo in album). Those had to go. I got some high density foam from Joann's Fabrics, but it's still too soft. I need something like thin closed cell foam from a yoga mat or something.

I rebuilt my Kymco seat using 2 types of their foam. 6 years on the rebuilt seat shape and cover (by sailrite) still look and feel as new. Thin Kymco seat had a horrid banana sized lump is plastic seat pan at your tailbone.
Yeah, stay away from JoannFabric stores....wrong stuff for riding purposes.
Used firmer 'rebond' foam beneath the blue foam for structure.

These scooter seats are a challenge. The manufacturers wanted plenty of under-seat storage space while still providing comfort to the rider. They're not like a bread-loaf seat on a 1960's Honda. I've watched some videos on sculpting seats, but I'm not sure if I want to go through all that.

I used a thin firm foam that was used to ship circuit cards....it not overly cushy but does provide some comfort
