Not really.
US gallon is 8 pints, UK gallon is 9.608 pints
Conversion factor is 1.201 - so 92 miles per US gallon is 110.5 miles per UK gallon

Actually - to be precise a UK gallon is also 8 pints, but they are UK pints. Its just that a US pint has 16 US Fluid Ounces and a UK pint has 20 Fluid Ounces. Then you have to take into account that the US Fluid Ounce is 0.9608 of a UK Fluid Ounce! That is what makes the conversion factor to be 1.201 :-

That makes a US Gallon (16/20)/0.9608 (or 0.8326) the size of a UK gallon. Therefore 92 US Mpg = 92*(20/16)*0.9608 = 110.5 UK Mpg

Jus' sayin'!! :) LOL

:D Nice to see a video from India, my home country. Fuel Economy is definitely a top priority in India! It might have rubbed on me a bit as well  Reminds me of an advertisement

"Kitna deti hai" translates to essentially 'what's the fuel economy', a question that is asked arguably even before what's the cost of the vehicle

Also it is common for manufacturers in India to claim fuel consumption values of 100 km/L (235 mpg-US or 280 mpg-UK) for 125cc motorbikes! For example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bajaj_XCD.

Don't forget about the Ethanol in our gas. I usually guesstimate about a 10% loss in mileage due to it.
