What some members have done is purchase a gel seat cushion of some sort in order to give them the extra padding needed in the area where the curve is from the frame, rails, and back end of the storage bin. The PCX was designed and built in Asia, where people are a bit smaller in stature than those of us of European decent.
When I got my PCX in the summer of 2014, I could not ride half an hour before suffering monkey bum syndrome.
So I sprung for an Airhawk Cruiser R seat cusion. Since then I have worn out the cover, after 37,000km, but when I throw my sheep skin on, it looks good and feels amazing. For around town I just use it as shown in the photos.
I have done 500km day rides and no pain.

Thanks, I will search for Airhawk Cruiser R. It looks like a good solution. I know this is going to sound weird, but I took off the foam on the seat. All that remains is my black tray. And guess what? Underneath that foam is a nice well-defined, round seating area. I could put that Airhawk Cruiser cushion right into that seating area on the tray, and it will fit like a glove. The tray without the foam doesn't look that bad. I think I have figured out my seating solution.

You cant go wrong with an Airhawk, they even offer a 30 day guarantee that you will love it or your money back.
Perhaps you could put a Cheekyseats seat cover on to give it a more finnished look. Be great to see a picture if possible. Wish you success!
