Unremarkable tbh.
Agreed... I never really thought they were worth what they ask for them so let me correct my own reply.

He is referring to paying for upgraded shocks for sure. youyou can pinch it better than most. In this case he is right to do so, they are a waste of 300 usd on a 220 pound scooter.

Agree with this though too.

Although if you want to splurge then splurge but it's probably not going to be silk purse time...

Maybe I'm easy to please, but I have no problems with the stock screen, the stock seat, the stock shocks, the stock variator, or the stock clutch. Do about 14,000km a year on them and they all seem just fine to me :)

Only change I've make is to add heated grips to help when the temp is getting close to freezing.

So I examined the seat a little more carefully and I might have to retract my earlier plan to have my upholstery wizard just re-foam it. The foam is so thin in most areas that if it was a little more "plush" (i.e. less hard) your butt would just go right through and bottom on the seat pan. May have to look into the cost of making padding a bit thicker multi-layer, and have a new seat cover fabricated as the factory one might not stretch back around to re-staple it to the pan. No longer a $100 job.....might have to get used to the poor seat and just get good shocks and see what happens.

One more thing - is it possible to buy a seat from Thailand website and pay in Thai Baht by credit card, and they will ship to the USA??

Chocolate and ice cream worked well for me in achieving that objective ...
