Here it is, my top speed video. Couldn't find a way to mount camera so that both smartphone and speedometer were nicely in view.

That's a little around just 6%. Not so bad.

104 KPH = 64.6 MPH.

I'll try to make a video too soon. Thanks

I've measured the accuracy of my 2013/2014 model many times - it over-reads by exactly and consistently 10% at all speeds.

Actual top speed is around 100 km/hr in wind-neutral conditions (110 indicated). Rev limiter starts to cut in at about 112 indicated.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, our speedometers inaccuracy are both the same.

I again went by a automated speed display that was on the freeway. I was doing 60mph and the sign said I was doing 60mph.

What bothers me more is the miles per gallon readout. For the entire two years I have owned my PCX, the mpg has been 10% over what my actual mpg has been.

Buggy.

So the question is: If they're spot on in US and 10% out elsewhere - is there a switch/setting somewhere to change it?

ALL vehicles manufactured for the uk have speedos that ''over read'' That is they all show a higher reading than the actual speed...This is usually 4 to 6 mph over 30 mph..

It has a rev limiter?

It seems that speedo inaccuracy is country related... ie USA ones seem to be pretty accurate. Oz ones are 10% out. I wonder if there's a setting/adjustment...

I am from Portugal and have the new model pcx 125 and I find that the 10 % error is also true on mine.

You notice it better when doing top speed, because the kph difference is higher.

In the milleage I don't notice any difference from the real one. I measure the amount of fuel I put and i make the same kms as the milleage tells.

Either a rev limiter or something similar that kicks in about 67 or close mph to limit top speed.
