No but better than a worn out one. But they need to grease the hell out of it. The original ball bearing up inside the clutch assembly is often not greased well from from factory. Greasing the snot out of it helps keep it from wearing out and making the whoosh whoosh whoosh noise.

Just get #8. it comes pre-assembled with the bearing installed. All that needs to happen is for you or your mechanic to remove the old inner face from the pulley assembly and attach the new inner face, and grease the snot out of the bearing listed as 19 in the diagram. Also #18 aught to be greased up pretty good too.

You will need some irregular tools that most people don't tend to have to get the job done.
EG: an impact gun or clutch/variator holder tool, 39mm socket, and at least two clamps to hold the clutch.
And while you're in there, you may as well check/replace the belt and rollers depending on your mileage...

Chicaboo is correct all the way around. When ours went bad, the assembly was on back order and had been for awhile. After waiting anxiously for quite awhile the mechanic took the assembly apart himself and then went on a search for the bearings, of which one of them is irregular and very hard to find. Since that time there have still been quite a few riders who have had the same bearings go bad. Order the assembly, and if you can't install it, take it to your mechanic. They have the tools.

There is always that satisfaction in a job well done...and a scooter that runs fine again. :-)

Stick with changing your bike oil every 3000 miles. Your bike will thank you.
