Good thinking Mike... 2014-4Z
never do it, seen too much greif in here over the years.

4Z 300 or PCX150
go to mirror
check butt size
if big get new 4Z
if small get PCX

No, No and yes, lots of them.

Warped discs front and rear
Sticky rear brake caliper
Premature wear on rear pads due to design failings
Impossible to check rear pads without disassembling inner exhaust heat shield and swinging arm to get caliper out
Leaking waterpump seals
Transmission bearing failure
Brake light switch failure

..
Given Poor GN2's experience, I will be purchasing a 2016 model year Forza, even if it costs more... It seems like one is likely to have problems when purchasing V 1.0, First Model Year, Serial # 000000001 of any scooter. All the guys at the factory were probably standing around GN2's Forza with their wrenches in their hands, trying to figure out how to put the first one together ;)

Mike
And mine is Serial # 000098. They were still trying to get it together. I think they used a bigger hammer to get the water pump in (oil leak). I think my rear brake caliper pins were bent on assembly. The body screws were slightly too small and the plastic rivets did not all pass inspection. And then the first owner dropped it in a parking lot.

I think I have it mostly sorted out now. I just came in after dropping 4000 ft down the Coquihalla and overtaking 30 wheel tractor trailers at 130 kph on a curving high bridge in the rain. Now that requires faith in the Forza holding together under stress. Or is it just plain ignorance on the rider's part.

Sounds like a normal day at the office to me.
Current ride: 2014 Forza bought new in mid-2015; still only 18K on the odo
Traded in: 2003 GL1800 with 152K and several IBA rides on the clock
6 other previous bikes
nearly 3/4 million miles logged
now just commuting instead of touring

Nope have a 2014 Forza with 38,000 kilometers on it and more being added almost every day. I really like the concepts of the Forza but it has a few really annoying flaws. But so do I.

Yeah, because everyone knows PCX owners are the worst people ever, and the cause of global warming, crime, and chaos all over the world  I just cant believe how close I came to being one of " those guys " , but I got a Honda SH150i instead, so that makes me cool...
