There is a way to get a full helmet under the seat but it took some doing for me and for the guy on YouTube who shows you how to do maintenance on it. Don't forget to go to BurgmanUSA.com. You can learn a lot from them. They will also have links to the YouTube guy. Instead of fighting the helmet storage issue I went ahead and purchased a Givi tailbox big enough to store two helmets. Worked out great. The guy who ended up with my Burgman didn't have anything else to do on it. I even installed extra LED lights in the rear.

I have registered at BurgmanUSA--yes, it is a good site. I will certainly go over and ask about the helmet fitting video.
