Also a big fan of loud exhausts. It is one of the things I miss...a loud booming twin and just another reason I traded my pcx for another twin. Oh to bleep the throttle as you slow down........

That's exactly what went through my head when I first saw this thread.

He's had other posts, so I don't think the original post was spam.
I haven't used a CycleShell or seen one in person, but I have heard of them. Why not just use a standard motorcycle cover? You can get them from Wal-mart for around $30, and they'll probably protect from the elements just as well. Also, the price! :O I'd just go to Home Depot and buy a shed for less than $400!

??? Didn't I ASK about it? If I was promoting it, I'd say I have one and it's the greatest thing ever. Seems a very odd (subtle) accusation.
Anyway, I have a regular cover- It's a bit of a pain to put on/take off, can't when it's hot and I wouldn't trust it over the winter.
Thought of a shed, but anything decent is a LOT more $, and I really don't have the room for something that would fit it. CycleShell would fit perfectly...

Just build your own security shed like I did easy to do made from Studwork Timber and old scaffold boards. Size 6ftx9ft
Studwork
Boarded up
finished with cladding panels
Total cost about £300

Nice scooter kennel, you could get a few scooters in there.

The nice thing about the shed-type is you can put a lot of other stuff in there.
Really, I just wanted to see if anyone has tried the CycleShell... guess not!
(It's the right size- a shed is too big, and I really don't have the inclination to build one)

Hi uploaded
Looks fantastic I have to say
Would be tempted to put some diagonal cross bracing on it in windy North Yorkshire

I can't stand the sound of Harleys, and always wondered if no one was there to see them ride past would people still buy them as there seems to be a big vanity thing from the grey beard brigade riding them!

I think Harleys might work in America. Just not in Rochdale or Barnsley if you know what I mean.
All those tassles and bandanas make me cringe - SAD.

The CycleShell™ is designed for year-round outdoor use, including winter weather. However, we do recommend brushing off snow if it there is heavy accumulation.

The word that raised my questioning here is "we" as it implies you are part of CycleShell. But if you were just pasting info from their marketing blurb and have no connection with them I have no problem with that. I rave over my ermax windscreen but have no connection with Ermax tm! Enjoy this forum.

Do i need to point out most Harley riders do not wear bandanas or tassles or are you really that daft in thinking so?

My sv650 often had comments that it sounded like a Harley with the after market can i had on. Pick up my NC700s in 2.5 weeks and I already have an after market can planned for it to get that thumping twin sound out. Too bad you do not live close by....

The discerning ear will know the sound of a ninety degree engine which because it has equally spaced firing strokes and perfect primary balance doesn't sound at all like a farm tractor with a broken exhaust... oops, I meant a Harley.

Are you kidding?
And the tassles can be on the bikes too.
Or haven't you seen that either?

I go to USA every year and specifically to a town called Racine in Wisconsin which has a big following of Harley riders. Most of the riders are just normal looking average guys though a few are pretty big. I have seen one or two riders wearing a bandana but not seen tassles on riders or bikes. My wifes step dad had a Harley, he was one of those guys that are in and out of prison but he had no bandana either. He collected guns and knives though lol. Gave me 2 knives which are pretty cool
