Hello all, thanks for all of the great responses! I have been away from my computer for some time now but one thing that has surely stuck around is the pcx chatter!

I took it in to the shop today and the mechanic was able to recreate it and said he'd contact Honda, especially due to the low mileage (~2200 mi). I am convinced it isn't from a fairing piece, but indeed from the clutch area. It seems too specific of a noise to be otherwise, and the motor itself runs flawlessly. Hopefully I hear back soon, also, Shmalex, my scooter sounds very similar to that except a little... groggier sounding. It frankly sounds like one of those wooden frog trinkets with the lumps on its back that you rub with a stick to make the 'ribbit' noise... except plastic.

Sometimes on a cold night, it will even make the noise when accelerating and even shudder a bit on takeoff. Yikes.
