Seems obvious to me that it will be US gallons.
On this side of the pond body weight is not normally quoted in pounds and we do not refer to petrol as "regular gas".

Valid. I was asking because that's ridiculously good mpg.

I believe 105.9 US mpg, or at least close to that. Our last tank was unusually high at 109.0 mpg, but we've generally been in the high 90's with some improvement now that the temperatures have warmed up. As small as the tank is, the variances in filling to "full" are going to make a significant difference in the mileage. I think you need to average it out over several tanks to be sure.

90 mpg You want to slow down and read the 50 rules on staying alive

Not at the same time obviously

Not sure if they are set rules rather than guidelines.
Having already survived more than two dozen bike crashes I can attest that it is far better to learn from the mistakes of others than from one's own mistakes.
Certainly less painful and much cheaper.
The 90mpg was caused by riding at 55-60mph nearly all of the time.

Two dozen crashes!!

I've never had one in 35 years of riding. A few offs on road but nothing more than gravel rash and injured pride

I have collided with five cars and been thrown over the top of one of them which turned right in front of me.
In every case it was mostly me to blame, I used to ride like a total lunatic.
Older and wiser now.

Can't complain mate. I think I've bored everyone I can about it

Not sure what the next tank will be as I've been using it to ferry my wife to and from work. There's a steep hill that has to be taken when the engine is cold which woulnt help at all

How long have you been riding for?

I've changed from riding like a dick to riding conspicuously. If you know what I mean. Now when I overtake a car I hope it's in a way that makes the people want a bike (even if it's only a little bit) rather than thinking what a nob

Except black 4x4s. There fair game

First rode a motorbike in 1977.
Haven't had a crash or an off since 1986 when I stuffed my Z1300 into a ditch on the Isle of Skye.
I swore then that I would never crash again.
So far so good...

maddiedog,
That is US gallons (I am near Philadelphia, PA). I really can't believe this... on my 3rd tank with my new 150, I got... 111 mpg! And I was very precise on measurement and calculating. I am blown away; I just can't understand how it physically can go that far on a gallon of (regular) gas. Amazing.

Not really amazing at all, it's nowhere near as good as a CBF125 which will easily do 120mpg and can do over 150mpg.

I think it's amazing, especially when my truck towing a camper trailer only does 12mpg. o_O

That's very good, I've never had anywhere near that, I think 110(ish) was my best.

It's amazing. I was worried that the small petrol tank would cause fluctuations in the amount filled and the mileage but the average is 128mpg over 11 fills

Never been anywhere close to the official mileage. At the moment my main car is supposed to do 73mpg bit woulnt do over 50mpg over a tank unless I drive it like a granny

Umm.... what is your main car that advertised 73mpg? Clearly this isn't a car that was sold in the U.S. I think the car with highest MPGs ever sold here was the Honda Civic HX model, which I wanted my mom to special order... but she said she just wanted what was at the dealership and didn't want to cause them any trouble. Lame.
