I bought the same bike in Chiang Mai a couple months ago, and was not able to find any company that offered first class insurance for small bikes.

The only thing available for bikes that size was extended third party insurance.

I was able to get a three year home policy from Viriyah Insurance that covers theft and if the bike is totaled.

BTW - in Chiang Mai there are no limits riding the bike until the plates come, just have the purchase receipt with you.

PS - I have two different digital owners manuals in English. Post an email address and I can send them.

I would love to have a copy of the manual and would be very grateful Thanks :) jnic@javaelectronics.com

UPDATE: It got it's first scratch today :( Someone clipped me in a parking lot. The scratch is barely noticeable, but it's there. I guess my bike isn't new any more.

Hey guys. I'm also in Bangkok. I bought mine sometime mid 2014, I'm not even sure if mine's a '14 or '15, but it's a great bike. Matte white, bought from Sukhumvit 71. Bangkok is a great place to ride a PCX. In fact, it was designed for Bangkok. It may seem trivial to design a bike for a certain city, but they surveyed people here, and I imagine also considered things from handlebar width to tire size. Here's the article. http://world.honda.com/design/designers-talk/pcx/

I got my first scratch the same day. It's just inevitable when the parking lots in our city are as cramped as they are. Still, sorry to hear.

In Thailand when the new model came out they called it the 2014. In the rest of the world that became the 2015. Same bike, different marketing. If you have LED lighting consider it a 2015.

Lot of talk about replacing rear shocks. They appear to be the standard Honda shock, same as the single one on the Click. The softer standard shocks makes for a smoother ride. I don't have a problem with them after a year of riding.

Heading to BKK in a couple of months (using the 160usd Asean pass on Air Asia). Is there a really good store for accessories I should check out?

What is it you are looking for? For seats, try this shop, they make them for most all of the distributors.

For general accessories, this is a good shop.
