I live in a rainforest environment and agree with you. Over inflated tires dangerous. I prefer to stick to speck or slightly below. I am running Pirelli Diablo's and what a huge positive difference they make!

Check your owners manual for the oil to use....buy the proper stuff, don't skimp. It is VERY cheap insurance for your scooter's life.
Get a new washer/gasket for the drain plug bolt.
Do not over tighten the drain plug....and do not overfill with the new oil.
If the PCX has an oil screen, with spring, behind another drain cap....remove it while paying attention to how the cap, spring and screen are situated
. Rinse all 3 in gasoline, dry off and replace them in your engine.
If this last step seems to be too much......just skip it and do the simple oil drain and refill with new oil.
Thread in the plug with good washer BY HAND, to prevent cross-threading, snug it up.....add proper amount of good oil.
No need to flush...just keep up with your oil changes and keep an eye on your dip stick. I check my dip stick every day if I've been riding.

I didn't buy any so i'll read the manual and buy some online as it'll probably be cheaper than from the dealership. Has anyone used Lucas additives or similar?

I think a fellow who does not check his oil ...might want to use the Honda oil specified in the owner's manual....rather than looking to save a few pennies.
Use the specified oil to protect your $3500 scooter's engine and you won't need any additives......the correct oil already has them in there.

As mentioned by others, many dealers just stick 10w40 in as part of the service, don't carry the dry clutch stuff, and Moly apparently is no longer an additive in newer releases of Honda oil? It seems as long as it's not too thick for the climate, does not contain anything to harm the engine (aluminium or something?) then it's fine.
Castrol semi-synth of full synth 10w30 is probably one of the finest UK oils you could put in - and costs £10 for a litre.
