I totally agree with putting location in your info. I like it when somebody is asking a question about maintenance or good roads to ride and you write a long essay explaining the procedure and where to get the cheapest part and a particular road with a restaurant that caters to PCX owners. Then the guy says that he is in western Botswana and has never heard of that road. You feel like you wasted your time and could have been helping someone else!

On a web browser look at the bottom of the home page (Board Index) and it gives a running count as well as a few other stats.

Nice bike. Can you put your location in your profile, Please? Two threads from now no one will know where you're from. Putting it in the profile has the benefit of your location following you.
I believe there are a few members who are from Pennsylvania. Though we live in Georgia now, my wife is originally from State College. I think the taxes drove her out. Her family opted to stay and be raked over the tax coals.

My apologies. My thinking at the time was "because I couldn't see the instructions you often referred to, I thought that it may be the same for others also" - and wasn't sure if you were aware that they only showed when signatures were on (I was the administrator at Cambridge in Colour in a previous life - and we used the same software).

Is there some way to search the forum to find members that are nearby? It might be helpful to get info about local shops or if there are local groups that get together to ride. Just curious if there is some way to query this.
