Don't be #50... don't be that guy  It's time to reset the crash list because DAHAM! If you've had an incident on any motorcycle/scooter in your life, I would like to know the answer to the poll please. Thanks, be safe :D

That question can be a little tricky. For instance, we were out enjoying the day. We had decided to go to the lake to look at the boats. Then it was time to go home. The accident happened on our way home. Which of those items in the question would be correct? We were out joy riding, but we were going to a specific place when it was time to go home.

Then you had a destination, good enough. I find myself needing to be on two wheels everyday like an addiction. No particular place to go, pure an simple need to ride and free my mind of the working day. It has occurred to me that this need is like a drug and dangerously over exposes me to Chicago traffic. I could minimize risk by not suiting up for joy rides, but it would be very hard and near impossible without ice and snow. Thank GOD I don't live in the sun belt.

I can't tell you how many riders I have seen down here whose only protection while riding is a helmet. I saw someone on a sport bike yesterday who had on shorts, a tee shirt and tennis shoes without socks...but he did have a full face helmet on, like that will protect the rest of him as he weaves his way through traffic at a high speed. Yes, the Sun Belt is a great place to ride, but it is not safe to ride anywhere without proper gear. When it is really hot out it is hard to remember to put on all of your gear, but it is October right now, so there isn't much of an excuse not to, unless stupidity is an excuse.
