I know this is long and boring for PCX whisper'ers and those who have done simple maintenance but I'm always concerned about uploading potentially destructive or damaging information for our new scooters owners on youtube. If you get a chance review segments (especially brakes) for safe and proper information. If you experts see something potentially dangerous and you don't fall asleep please report to me as I have 150 subscribers and DIY service enthusiasts I don't care to have to pissed at me.

the first thing I observe is that you have a lot of dead air. This is not anything against you, since I have the same problem when I'm trying to think and talk at the same time. I cut out a lot of my dead air with my video editor. I've found it cuts out a lot of time in the final video. Nobody wants to live out the DMV scene from Zootopia. if I didn't edit the dead air out of my vids, that's how it would feel.

As for content, it seems good and thorough, you just have to be more succinct. It sucks, but people just won't watch long videos.

Understood (succinct) I already forgot what that meant.
My poor lightning, no editing camera software and lack of equipment plus the slow drooling tone probably will not change. But the subscribers keep coming and perhaps if you were doing the service (valve clearance check or 5000 mile inspection) one might find them useful in real time whilst you work. At least that is what I want when using YT for long mechanical procedures. Starting and pausing along the way during maintenance with socket sizes, torque values and side notes from your laptop is most likely whats happening here, especially where people can't get SM's.

Great videos! The only complaint I have is that I wish you were wearing a microphone as the position of the camera and your voice suffers when you increase the distance from your camera. Great job otherwise!

It is good of you to put those vids on youtube for common consumption. There are a lot of folks who would try to package them some way and make a buck off them.

Thank you! I see that I left a baffle over the microphone port on the camera because I ride with that action cam live every outing and wind plays havoc. Totally apologize and I won't make that mistake again.

People love to get around service charges, comments are mostly thankful. I get it, as long as no one gets hurt by my unwillingness to do a fuel line check at 5k. So I link over to the (valve clearance check) video because other than fuel line inspection you would have no body panels to remove at 5k. Smell no fuel, see none dripping... lets ride!

btw my 2015 PCX has a stock (cogged) belt and was within service limits at 5k No stress marks, cracks or much wear on the belt at all using the NCY vario kit for the last 4400 miles. Sorry I didn't go on to check wear on rollers but did you see the faces Wow! that kit rides a belt well compared to the high marks and lines on the stock faces. Maybe I will take a look at the rollers in the winter out of season, rain is letting up now and I want to RIDE!

Thanks WhiteNoise, it seemed a waste not to document a 5000 mile service. It's a big one and you get to do a lot of cool stuff. If I bought a used PCX the 5k would be adequate and give some comfort with a used bike. The LED PCX's are coming into resale soon as many scooters don't see 5000 miles before they are sold. I ride mine plenty to have this many miles on a 2015 I guess. I really enjoy the Precious a lot and I like to think people take care of them. Two new subscribers today so I did my part until somebody puts up a better 5k service video... LETS RIDE!

Thanks for the vid's Homie - appreciate all such videos and the time taken to make them. No need for a service manual for most people, just learn from the videos and threads on this forum for basic sevicing, taking apart and such. Great! (I have the service manual, but pictures and videos are so much easier to follow)

It's possible the length won't bother some folks, especially your target audience, and may have the effect you're looking for. It's just a reality that the average watch time of YouTube vids is very short. I do like the thoroughness of the information. I struggle in my own how-to videos with keeping the length down while still keeping it thorough.

As I said, your voice is comforting, makes me want to put on a cardigan and change my shoes. please don't take that as a negative, it is not. Quite the opposite in fact. Fred Rogers is one of my heroes.

They are 'how to videos' made by someone who takes time to video and explain how to do tasks most users need to know or wonder about - basic servicing and valve clearance. How many people bother to help others in this way - not many so thanks again. To all those that have taken time to share such knowledge, thanks! If people can't be bothered to watch them due to length or content, well their loss. They can always skip forward and backward as needed.

Thanks iceman, I realize having sent a service manual to London once that doing vehicle service maintenance is discourage by limiting access to SM's and other legal or legislative restrictions. I do understand for the safety of the general public how this can happen. You would think with all our ambulance chasers in the states we wouldn't be able to tool our own vehicles either without paying a high fee for the information but at last... we have internet Be careful, use a torque wrench and common sense. My torque values are checked closely and any side note warnings come from the manual.
