Body mounted mirrors

Post by Trekker85 »

After having a go on my mates VFR I decided that body mounted mirrors are much easier for me to use. So here they are.

Excellent. Are they any use for seeing what is behind you?

View was terrible. So I've rotated the stalks so they are now looking under my hands. Only a temporary solution until I find a pair with longer stalks or I come across some extenders. They don't look as nice pointing down.

In my opinion, they don't look bad at all like that (at least seen from.that view) ;)

I think he was saying, which is apparent from looking at them, that they are functionally useless. Too low and to narrow.

They do look good but don't work unless you want to see your hands or your knees

Yes, I was just letting him know that, although he mentions that "They don't look as nice pointing down" they look ok, but yes, he'll have to extend them a little bit 8) 8) 8)

Just been for a ride and they are perfect when pointing down. And after using them for a bit they don't look to bad at all.

Perfect! It's the first PCX with the mirrors in that position that I see in Europe/USA. The ones that I have seen were from Thailand, Japan, etc. ;)
