checking level on cb hydraulic reservoir.

Post by oldbiker »

I was looking over my pcx 125 doing a walk through of the owners manual service checks. I was looking through the aperture at the cb brake reservoir and it looked empty. No biggy just did not want to take it to the dealers. There was no signs of a leak....so I investigated further. To get to the point I found by using a cheap led torch I could easily see the yellowish fluid against a white reservoir. The colour phase shift helped turn the invisible fluid to one I could check. It was ok. Hope this helps anybody.

So in other words... You used a flashlight (torch) to see if the combined brake fluid reservoir (container) was at the correct level?
