Finally I have something to say about the PCX150. Picked her up yesterday after work and looked very nice and shiny in black.
Impressions on my first ride home (with a number of detours to check handling) were:
1. It's fast, deceptively fast even from new. WAAAAAAAY more powerful than a SYM VS150 and extremely smooth. Very impressive for a scoot with zero k's on the clock.
2. The seat hump has to go. I'll be unbolting it later today. Far too restrictive and makes my bum sweat in the tropics.
3. Missus loves the style and seat - much more pillion friendly than the VS125/150.
4. Underseat storage is better than I expected. Not cavernous like the VS but the shape and angle actually give a lot more room than you can see in the photos.
5. It's way too quiet In a nice way. Don't worry - yoshi pipe is on order and should be here next week.
6. Build quality is WAAAAAAAY better than Tiawanese counterparts. Don't let anyone kid you. You don't get quality and finish like this on the other non-Jap bikes. Makes the SYM/Piaggio etc brands look like they are made from cheap egg cartons by comparison.
7. It's a Honda. And that means a lot to me (5 Honda cars and 2 bikes over the years). It looks like it's built to last - and I suspect it is.
8. It's nimble, real nimble but also very planted and well balanced.
9. It's light and the seat height is quite low. Much easier to touch the ground than the VS.
10. The horn and signals are reversed (i think i'll get used to that pretty easily though) which means lots of horn beeping for no reason.
I can't think of much more just now. Maybe see after a couple thousand k's and a couple of oil changes to see how she loosens up.
Definitely a good choice and glad I made the decision.

nice comparison. you get used to the turn signals and even remind yourself to turn them off. I'll miss putting mine away for the winter, which is soon to be here in Pennsylvania

You sure it is a 2014, not a 2013?
After some searching i can't find any evidence whatsoever that a 2014 pcx exists. Can anyone provide legit evidence that they do exist?

I found this on the web. I am pretty sure the video was taken in Japan or some other Far East destination. No U.S. version that I can see. Note the HONDA emblem on the side.
