Like that the color is shiny, don't really like that the color is gray. But aside from the covered handlebars everything else seems the same. Oh, restyled headlight looks nice. Still want like to see it in person.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I placed a deposit on a 2025 PCX this morning. It has an ETA of 5/21/25.
I'm hoping the 'pearl gray' looks decent.
No matter I guess since it's the only color available in the US.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I am almost decided to trade in my 2021 PCX for the 2025 - just so that I can get the 6-year Honda warranty extension. My son rides this in college and I need trouble free riding for him. I know these scooters - just about nothing goes wrong but I need some peace of mind. The dealer told me he has it and I need to ride my white 2021 and exchange for the cement-grey 2025. They do look identical though.

Dealers use different 'book values' than we have access to. And every bike's 'condition' is subject to opinion.Conelite wrote: ↑Fri May 30, 2025 12:08 pmWHat they offer you for the trade in?iyernat wrote: ↑Fri May 30, 2025 5:52 am I am almost decided to trade in my 2021 PCX for the 2025 - just so that I can get the 6-year Honda warranty extension. Over the last 4months, at different dealerships and different brand scooters, I've been offered for 'trade-in values' from $1000 - $700 BELOW Kelley Blue Values for my bike. The dealership I purchased the 2025 PCX from offered me exactly KBB trade-in value. No idea why the differences. Maybe because the dealer I finally purchased it from had zero money tied up in the bike before the sale. I put a deposit on it close to a month before they received it from Honda, and were paid the balance as soon as they prepared it and called me.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
Will someone please tell me what the magic words or secret handshakes are to post photos?
I have them save as images/photos on my laptop. I had no problems posting them to another rider's Forum.
But I'm unable to unlock the process on here. Help would be appreciated. And try to keep it simple for a simpleton.
Thanks.

Click on [full editor & preview] Then below to the left, there is an [Option/attachments] Click on attachments.
Then click on the box below that says "add files". It should open your stored files and from there you can select pictures. Hope this helps.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I had to re-size my pictures before posting them. Site says to large file, so I reduced the photo to 40%. That works for me now. Note that I use my phone (cheap Android phone) for picture posting.

Yes.... wish there was an option for a thumbnail. Maybe there is?? What ever happened to the simple paperclip, to open files?
Very nice PCX ! Almost looks like an "off white" shade/color. Enjoy!

I like that color a bit more than my "matte brown/gray". Very nice! Congrats on the new scoot! Does it have a physical key or is it now fob operated? I've yet to see one in person.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I'm mixed on the color. I do like metallic in the paint, and the gray is a really popular auto color now. I'm hoping it grows on me.
I'm glad to say it has No key fob. It has a regular key with a hexagon on the molded thumb side.
When you park and lock the steering far left, and key is removed, a shutter closes across the ignition switch's key's slot.
The key's hexagon protrusion is inserted and turned to slide and lock open the shutter, so the key can be reinserted into the ignition switch.
I guess it's a bit of a passive safety feature. It will at least prevent yahoos from jamming up the open ignition switch with gum or a toothpick and such.

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I had a tuned Zuma 125 with the shutter cover key just like our PCX. I loaned the Zuma to a friend and he closed the shutter when he parked it. It would not re-open! I had to go and rescue him with my van. I never used the shutter so when the friend did it had gunk behind the slide that jammed it shut. We had it fixed pretty quick once we got the front panel off. My SYM CityCom had a crunchy ignition shutter as well. I cleaned that asap after buying it used!
I don't envision the PCX shutter getting gunkked up because it's better protected from the elements. I use a LiteLok X1 and fear someone "jamming" it's key slot. It'd take a loooong time to grind that lock off! I'm hoping to see a new PCX at one if the Honda dealerships soon. I need a new half helmet and she wants to look at a new Can-Am Ryker. Again, congrats on the new PCX!
