Just got a 2025 ADV 160 - I guess now I have a scuderia!

Although, I can only keep one, so I will be selling my PCX. :(

The newness factor of the ADV is a huge draw. It feels so tight and fresh. I bought it USED with only 160 miles on the odometer, at a great price (I think?... $4000 even). I'm worried that my PCX is going to be needing some work and such, and it's unbearably tempting to just sell it instead of putting in the time and money to maintain.

PCX vs. ADV:

The PCX is a smoother ride, but it feels "tired" (even with only 5500 miles) compared to the ADV. The PCX ride position has always hurt my back... like I'm hunched over. I find myself purposefully doing stretches (leaning way back) at every red light. The ADV doesn't seem to have this issue. The ride is slightly more upright. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can switch into 4 different riding positions on my PCX!!! The ADV geometry is a bit different, and these same riding positions are slightly awkward now... but still doable.

Storage is roughly the same, but I really wish I could have brought over my topbox from my PCX... but the box and bike are keyed together. And the ADV doesn't seem to have any factory ability to mount a rear luggage rack. I had to order a SHAD rack and topbox. Another $300.

The ADV sometimes oscillates on the front wheel, meaning that the front wheels sometimes feels unbalanced. It's not a big deal, but I can't really figure it out. Sometimes the front end is slightly bouncing as I'm going straight and level, and then smooth as butter. Not sure what's going on here, but like I said, not a big deal.

Styling is a mixed bag. I love the flowing lines and empty spaces of the PCX, but the aggressive angular look of the ADV is slightly more attractive. Yet, it's also a curse. Every square inch of the ADV has some sort of line or crease. The PCX is simply easy to keep clean. I like the simpler front end windshield area of the PCX much more than the crinkly, finnicky windshield area of the ADV... even though it evokes an F-35 cockpit.

Anyway, I'm drinking and could ramble all day. Cheers bubs.
