What did you go for? Can you show a pic when you gave it set up?

Re: Phone Mounts
I'm curious too. My older Forza was easy because it has exposed handlebar bolts, but my Silverwing has a cover like the new Forza.

Re: Phone Mounts
Plastic covered handlebars.. are always deal-breakers for me. Exposed ones look much better, and useful.

Can the plastic handle bar covers be thrown away?

Re: Phone Mounts
Will do, pick the Forza up Saturday, so will be at weekend sometime - presuming the phone mounts arrive.mikeoc wrote:What did you go for? Can you show a pic when you gave it set up?
As for the handlebar, even though its covered, the Forza 300 still has mirror mount (these are covered with a blanking screw) points next to the brakes, so you can use those as starting points.

Didnt need to take anything off, I just used the unused mirror mount on handlebar by the rear brake lever.

Here's stuff I use to hold my phone - I love the clamp style ... small, not bulky, and strong

Re: Phone Mounts
I've just mounted my sat nav on my new Forza 125, but prior to that, was looking for mounting suggestions on YouTube, etc. Everything I found seemed quite convoluted or required adding a lot of clutter. Anyway, I noticed there was an unused female thread in the centre of the handlebars, underneath the central plastic cover, which is very easy to remove and put back again.
It seems to have been overlooked by all the various YouTube how-to's I watched.
Turns out, it's an M6 thread, so I just bought an M6 threaded Ram ball mount from Amazon. Drilled a small hole in the plastic panel near it to thread the power cable through it - job done. Neat, along my central line of sight, and the best part is that when I'm not using the navy, the ram ball is small enough to allow me to replace the original plastic cover so you would never know it was there. Here's the link to the M6 RAM ball mount.
