Exhaust upgrade

Post by bwright00 »

Hello, I just recently purchased a 2015 PCX150 and I wanted to switch to a freer flowing exhaust.

My biggest question would be has anyone seen a major change in MPG? Mainly trying to avoid losing mpg I don't care so much about gaining.

If I do upgrade the exhaust do you recommend also upgrading the air filter?

I can't answer that, but there's plenty of discussion on the PCX's exhaust on this Forum... 185 pages and counting.
Maybe you can find your answer somewhere among the pages. The link below will re-direct you to the link within this Forum.
Good Luck.

Exhaust wont really effect MPG. Biggest killer of MPG is running lighter weights in your variator. Gives you aggressive acceleration but kills MPG.

I went from aftermarket to stock exhaust and MPG didnt change. I get the worse MPG at right around 75-80MPG but the bike runs HARD.
