Hello All:
I bought a right side upper fairing piece for the PCX, as the original has a crack in it.
I have followed a few videos and a step-by-step on this site for removal. However, in the process, I started breaking plastic rivets and making things worse, so, I abandoned the project.
I had a HECK of a time for some reason putting the meter cover back on (two hours). I have included pictures, it is not seated properly and appears buckled. It looked sort of like this before I took it apart, but I think it looks worse. Do any of you have the same problem with your PCXs?
Does anyone have a video for reassembling the plastic parts? I see a lot of disassembly, and the manuals I am reading are a little confusing and difficult to read.
Anyway, I have included attachments of what is in front of me. Meanwhile, I am out four plastic rivets (does anyone have the part numbers for these?), I still have a crack in the fairing, and now I have a rattle in the dash!!
This is disappointing and a confidence blow. The dealer charges $160 per hour. I must admit, I have little patience and I do not want to destroy this scooter because I'm inept.

**Update**
I have decided to bite the bullet and bring it to a dealer and have them put the panel on. I am hoping they can at least do a better job than I would have done, and perhaps will get the meter cover sorted out during that time.
Thanks all for reading my post.

It's really difficult to describe where notches and tabs are located on these plastic panels, and how and in what order the parts need to be inserted and installed. Sometimes less said is better than steering somebody in the wrong direction... and less expensive if tabs are broken off beyond use.
Good Luck getting it all sorted out.

The dealer was able to replace the panel at a very reasonable cost and the bike looks great. Still having issues with the meter cover resting down and popping into place!
