I realize that a driver backrest is not as safe when needing to bail off bike during accident.
I have 4 rods and 10 screws in my back and I cannot ride far without discomfort.
Looking to install a removeable driver backrest. Anyone done this or know a source for one?
I see custom seats from Taiwan are available but the shipping is more than the seat.
Can't find any inflatable add on backrests.

Re: 2013 150 driver backrest
I know that this will sound crazy, but I havereal great luck with my setup. I have a beautiful 2013 model with just about every option, many of them being my own inventions. I have had 13 back surgeries and procedures. So back comfortable is extremely important to me. With that said, here is what you should do.
1. Buy a get seat pad, it will make you ride so much more comfortable!
2. Buy a couple of thin tie downs.
3. Create a foam backrest from packing styrafoam materials for furniture, a TV, or anything else that has large enough material for you to for the size you want with enough spare room to tie it down to your seat, with he back of the material resting against your bucket. Get a bucket, if you need to! Your rest must have a stop position. I covered my styafoam with some black material to hide it and protect it from weather.
I am attaching pictures. I hope this helps.
