Thanks for all of the advice everyone, I've been very busy and out of the country, so I haven't really had any time to work on this yet. One other thing I noticed, and maybe i'm crazy, but the handlebars now feel a bit...off. Almost like they are too close to me now or at more of a downward angle. Is there any way to verify if the bars are bent? Any other part damage that could cause this?

Get a straight edge that is long enough to from the stem of your forks to the wrist grip outer edge,or at least in the middle of the bars, measure to the edge of the twist grip, then do the same for the other side.
That should at least tell you if one side of your bars has been bent back. If it was a slow, low side crash that is the most likely, although I would have expected damage to the lever or twist grip. Hope this helps

I try to take every turn that I make in traffic, straight up ,and not leaning , sometimes this mean slowing down to almost a walk, when I don't know what the surface holds. Just a little byproduct from crashing a few times over the years…
I don’t slow to straight up - but I slow / ride to the the requirements of the road surface - basically in real time - not just on turns. Best training I know is to buy and thrash around a dirt bike in the mud dirt and grass. Most fun too !!

I just try to go as fast as possible. Nothing ever happens apart from me thinking I could have gone faster.
Me and the rest of the world
