Improvement to the forum
This goes out to administrators of the forum. Please can you alter the way in which posts are highlighted so that the relevant posts are titled in bold and moved items etc are not.
I understand you have other commitments and this may be a big ask. I appreciate all the time you put in to making this platform a great informative place and I won't be affended if this isn't followed up.

Re: Improvement to the forum
I don't understand. Relevant to who? Seems to me that would be relative to the user. And what are "moved items"? the only things that get moved (I think) are posts that are worthy of the how-to section, "For Sale" stuff that is not in the appropriate area, and the ever popular slide into "Drama and Bullcrap" when people go off their meds.
I expect I miss a fair bit. I usually hit "new posts" and see what's (obviously) new. I do it pretty much every day, but still stuff slips by. Whatever - I survive, and have gotten used to the peculiarities of this particular format. Yes, I'd like Forza and PCX stuff to have different colored backgrounds, but the underlying software just doesn't support it. The search function is lame, so I use Google or DuckDuckGo.
I am just thankful (appropriate to the day here in the US) that this font of information and worldwide community exists at all.

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: Improvement to the forum
Just hit “view active topics” that’ll take care of the “relevance”. The administrator here is not gonna change a thing, I wouldn’t either.....

Sorry, but spelling OCD kicked in. It's "offended"superandyp wrote:I appreciate all the time you put in to making this platform a great informative place and I won't be affended if this isn't followed up.
I agree with your sentiment that I quoted, but I think that you might have t find your own solution to the issue.

To the Op (original poster),
I believe you're asking us to Highlight the thread title of a topic that has been moved to it's "proper" location. You ask this because the original thread still exists in it's inproper location? Am I understanding you correctly?
If not, please elaborate.

My head hurts
Re: Improvement to the forum
I like ice cream with sticky toffee pudding, but with treacle or syrup sponge.... custard is absolutely essential.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: Improvement to the forum
Haha, I had a day where every little thing annoyed me but today I,m back to not giving a monkeys. The threads such as 'drama and bullcrap' come up in bold, but the general threads relevant do not, that is what I meant. The view active posts thingy does the trick. Lilly, brum is good thanks, a great place for a scooter. Gn2, I agree custard is absolutely essential, posting from a location where birds custard originated.

We were releasing a new range of donuts called "Sweet Hearted Donuts". Little did I realise that the artwork I presented them with read " Sweat Heated Donuts".
Luckily they saw the funny side.

You'd be lucky to sell those anywhere, even as street food.JohnL wrote:I found that out many years ago doing a presentation in front of a group of senior food executives.lillypinkjenny wrote:

After a few pints they’d be an option...

Re: Improvement to the forum
Well, yes, Bristol UK. Born and bred in Filton. Big Rovers fan. Back when they played at Eastville I was construction manager on the stadium rebuild/extension. I remember the greyhound racing, one weekend, was going to be cancelled due to snow, so I spent all the prior day cleaning it off the track with the front bucket of a backhoe - races went ahead on schedule.lillypinkjenny wrote:Cool, and with a tagname of Limey you have to mean Bristol, UK and not Bristol, Tennessee.Limey wrote:

My brother used to be involved in the organization of the Balloon Fiesta and I used ( a lot!) a pub near the old Cameron Balloon factory - it was up in Kingsdown then.
License plate on my car is 'A LIMEY' and Union Jack flies proudly alongside the Stars and Stripes in my front pasture.

Re: Improvement to the forum
On most motorcycle forums it's good form to post so others can understand it. Proper spelling, grammar, and wearing brain buckets? Scooter folks ask a bloody lot...
