Are these the lowering shocks or their standard replacement adjustable shocks? My wife and I both have the lowering shocks on our PCX 150s. We are quite happy with them. A friend of ours tried them and was disappointed because he likes to jump curbs with his and they would bottom out on him. We have had no such problem. Of course, we don't jump curbs either. We just ride the roads. We have them set on the medium setting right now.
Takegawa makes some good products. Their price is reasonable, but some shipping rates are deal killers, so be aware of that when you order online.

The 280MM ones are about an inch shorter than the stock shocks.
Thing is I can't find any.

We USE to get them from Japan.Webbike.net ....BUT...suddenly they have increased shipping beyond the price of the
shocks themselves. Someone Pissed someone off I guess.
Oh, and the 265mm
shocks are shorter than the
280mm I think.

Notice that when you click on the color box you get the shipping price, which is $72.69. I don't know if it is a set or not. I would think that it would come as a set since it is for a PCX, which requires 2.
Here is the link to the
Takegawa ones. Just note that shipping went up to $85.41, AND this is a custom order.

Thanks Mel. Those Takegawa shocks are 265MM which is close to 2in shorter than stock. I was looking at these
285MM (about 1in shorter) @ $250.00 CAD. Kinda rich for me when the stockers only have 2500km on them.
On the other hand I spent some time yesterday afternoon with the Guy (that's his name) and worked on the seat.
Guy uses a level-I hate sliding forward every time I apply the brakes.
A couple of pics. Not quite done-tomorrow.
I'm not supposed to ride for another few weeks due to surgery but took short ride and liked it.
The 'nose' of the seat is about 1-1 1/2in taller but the BUTT part is about 2in lower and 3-4in further back from stock.
Will post pics of the finished product this week.
May not buy aftermarket shocks at all.

Sorry. Most of this should have been under "Humpectomy"
