SNEAK-PEAK of Blackbeard's RED OCTOBER! WARNING! PIC HEAVY!
Howdy Shipmates!
Well, for the last three weeks, with my Medical Down-Time Recovering at home, and my New Unridden FORZA sitting in the Garage..... apparently..... I've had TOO MUCH TIME on my hands!
Here is the result of WHAT CAN HAPPEN, with the WEB, EBAY, REVZILLA, STREETGLO, & PAYPAL..... and a New Battery in my Mouse:
I'm calling this a SNEAK-PEEK, because:
1. I have a few more items coming in the mail.
2. I can't install the Malossi Shocks, until I'm completely healed up in another 2'ish weeks.
3. I can't do the Rim Tape on the Front Wheel, until I can lift more than 10# (See #2).
4. I can't do the CounterAct Balancing Beads in my Tires, until I can roll the Front Tire by hand (See #2).
PARDON MY PICS, but they're all taken in the Garage. This Vessel won't see the light of day until next month, since she's still in Dry-Dock! Anyway..... here's what I've been up to:
BEFORE:
AFTER:
DECAL MODS & REBADGE:
Day:
ABS Decal, Black Fader Stripe, & Thin Yellow Reflective Pin-Stripe:
Night:
ACCESSORIES:
Givi Windshield:
Large Space between Givi Windshield and Dash Cover:
Larger Air Vent Hole with the Givi, than the Stock Sport Windscreen:
Biker’s Friend Roll Bag & Backrest (FORZA Butt-Pad Removed):
Holes were NOT Drilled! The Zip-Ties and Hooks are running through the Existing Holes from the Butt-Pad Removal. Completely Reversible to Remount Butt-Pad. No Fuss & No Muss!
Zip Ties through the Rear Biker’s Friend Hooks & D Rings, to add extra Security & Support:
Helmet Lock on Handlebar:
Mobius Camera & Handlebar RAM Mount:
AirHawk Seat Pad & Biker’s Friend Lumbar Pad:
AirHawk Pillion Seat Pad, used as a Backrest Cushion, strapped to the Biker’s Friend:
GRAB-ONS (Grip Puppies) Installed:
I used thin 1/6" Yellow Reflective Pin-Stripe, for Day & Night Visibility, and because I wanted to add a bit to match the already installed Yellow Decals on my Helmet. I've got a Red Roll of 1/6" Pin-Stripe Tape coming in for the Helmet, so I can add a bit to match the FORZA.
I removed all of the FORZA's Stock Decals & Badges, and replaced them with Vinyl Decals in both Black & Red.
I used an Automotive Decal, with Black & Clear Fader Stripes, to give it a different effect (I have the same kit on my car...).
EVERYTHING..... I've done to the FORZA can be UNDONE in a couple of hours, and Restored to Stock, without having to replace any Panels, Fill in any holes, etc.
I played around with the Helmet Cable and Underseat Helmet Lock, and didn't like it. I replaced it with a Helmet Key Lock, that mounts to the Handlebar. When I turn the Handlebar to the left to Lock it, I can Lock the Helmet with the D Rings at the same time.
Anyhow..... THAT's what I've been up to. Still playing around with a few ideas, and it should all come together by the time I get in the Saddle in the next 2 weeks!
Give a Pirate Sick Leave, and they don't have a clue what to do!
Cheers!

Looks beautiful
Looks like it's going to be a smooth, quite, comfortable and efficient ride when you get to it.
Is it for commuting or pleasure?

Looking good
May the Forza be with you!!

Looks like it will be a much more comfortable ride, and it's always good to make yourself more visible. Let me know how the malossi shocks are after you get them installed. I've been thinking about getting them myself, but it will have to wait until next year now.

Perfect!... might have to like Forza after looking at all that perfection. I use the Mobius looping 3min segments every single trip out as habit. I think it makes me a better driver because if and when I join my list of survivors I don't want the idiot to be me in the video.

NEXT WEEK!!! Back in the Saddle! I gave myself an Extra Week of Down-Time, to make sure I'm healed up well enough to Ride! Can't wait!Branyers14 wrote:Bravo! Nicely done BB. Looks like you're all set for a tour!
I run my Mobius on 5 Minute Segments, and it works very well. I've got mine set to Continuous Loop, for the 32gb Micro SD Card. Videos always come out Great! Neat little Camera!homie wrote:Perfect!... might have to like Forza after looking at all that perfection. I use the Mobius looping 3min segments every single trip out as habit. Here are a few New Pics, Showing the Flash On & Off, to see the Reflective Effects at night. Once I can get it out in the Driveway at night, next week, I'll do a few more "Real World", rather than "Garage World", Pics.Jge64 wrote:I like it, i rarely drive in the dark, so id like to see these stripes in a diff color on my bike, if i owned a forza.
No Flash:

Flash! I used some Black Areas on the Forza, like the bottom of the Givi Windshield, Mirrors, etc., to put Black-On-Black Reflective Decals. If the Sun or Headlights hit them, they'll glow White:
THANKS for the Comments, Folks!
Cheers!

Next week!!! It's still got 4 Miles on the ODO!
Finished up my 30-Day Medical Recuperation on Wed, but wanted to give myself an extra week, just to make sure.
Cheers!

Making it truly yours
Nice job BB, I like the shapes and placement of all the reflective tape. I definitely would see you should I be in the same place same time as you.
You are an inspiration. I've had reflective tape for sometime, but it's sitting in my catch all bike draws with other stuff waiting on me. Not enough hours in the day and now we get dark at 4:30pm.
Me no likey.
Soon you will be riding that scoot of yours! Happy Safe Trails to ya!!
