Re: How-to: Exhaust heat insulation wrap on PCX 125
Did yours also used to smell after wrapping? If so for how long mate. I can now smell that burning in or bedding in every time I stop at lights for longer than 2sec lol Can't say it did but it is under the seat. I find my bikes tend to smell in winter, whether this is due to what I wash it with or ...

As a stop gap, you can file a little off the point of a ordinary Philips driver, it will fit better.

Re: Oxford Premium Touring heated grips
The grip has to go further, try WD 40 with a straw pushed down between the grip and the bar. If you can't do this take the grip off and add lube. You cant leave it there if you want to replace the bar end weights. You can trim about the end 3mm.

If it masks the problem, wouldn't it suggest a bearing?Alibally wrote:I cant see thicker oil making any difference. It's only going to mask the problem.

How many miles has it been run in this condition?
Which oil 10-30? if so try some 20-50 and see if it is any quieter.

I find it hard to imagine your cylinder/head is warped. With the amount of coolant lost and the oil capacity of the scooter I would think you would see some emulsion.

If it is a leaking head I would have thought you would see some oil emulsion somewhere, can you get the cooling system pressure tested as I recon a leaking gasket should give a higher pressure.

It's up to the rider to assess the road condition, No vehicle can be ridden the same in the wet as in the dry. The PCX is as good as anything in the wet.

Re: 2013 Honda PCX with <9,300km TOTALED ITSELF.
