Re: Torque Wrench
I just completed my first oil change yesterday and did not use one. Just dont over tighten things to the point of breaking them. The filter nut should be snug tight, remember there is an oring that seals it. Over tightening will cut of flatten the oring and can cause premature leaking.

You added a lot! Love All, but agree with dass on the stabber. That seat makes the whole bike Pop! 8) Nice! How did you fasten the string of LED's? Hope we get to see them in the dark :) The leds come with a strong adheisive backing. They are flexable and cut to length. I had purchased the longest ...

Are there turn signals in the headlight assemblies in Europe or Thailand? ...... If a headlight assembly was ordered from Thailand would it have the wiring assembly for turn signals built in? The turn signals on Thai models are in the upper portion on each side of the headlight assembly and to the ...

Re: Forza has arrived.
I am going to my dealer tomorrow to pick up my lawn mower, I will check but I would rather doubt that they will even get one in this year any more. They really try to lower scooter inventory durring the winter months. I bought the last PCX July 3rd and they still havent replaced it with a new one.

Re: YUMINASHI 184cc RACING BIG BORE FULL KIT
Idk, for the cost of parts and labor I think I would rather get a Forza. Just my opinion anyway. You know how much heavier the Forza is? .....It's 422 pounds, which makes it a pig. http://www.krock1057.ca/files/Angry-Baby-2.jpg I would much rather upgrade my PCX150 to a 200cc Frankenbeast and keep ...

Re: Cheap seat mod (free) :)
I have grown tired of the hump also, it just hits my ass in the wrong area. Like you said an inch would help a lot. I wanted a different seat so I ordered one. Today was the first ride after installing it last night and it makes a world of difference. It also solved the dreaded seat latch issue many...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?
I'm no expert here but I think that the smaller GIVI windshield helps with a better gas mileage. I could be all wet about this. I get about 105 mpg and with a large GIVI windshield, and I think that's great. that seems to be what I have consistently gotten. I don't think it will change. My route th...

Re: Drive belt
The best way to tell if you need to change rollers and slide bushings is to examine them with the variator off in your hand. Rollers can develop flat spots in them. The slide bushings can wear also in the v groove. If you find you have one or both of these have happened to you then replace them. The...

Re: Technical help?
I say leave the how to section for the how to's that have been done. Use the tech section for people asking for help. If some one wants to submit a how to, you approve it before it gets posted to the how to section. With less clutter in the how to section, people can search through all of them easil...

Re: GMax Helmet
I bought a helmet last week and have started forcing myself to use it. ------------- South Dakota is a 'free state' -- wearing a helmet is not required, right? From a European point of view that sounds a little bit strange. In Thailand, maybe half of the population riding scooters never wear a helm...

Hey Cheap Ride, I was wondering if you knew about G Max's GM78 Full Face? What's added is an integrated LED light with multifunction button (and an optional LED brake light kit is available too), plus the inner flip sun tint lens & more. Just over $100 here: http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/s...

I purchased the black to match the color of my PCX. Wrong colour, helmets should always be white. Wrong type of helmet, open face helmets are no good at all. I must have forgotten to consult thine holy one before purchasing... Bottom line, if I get hit, I am better off for wearing a helmet r...

GMax Helmet
I bought a helmet last week and have started forcing myself to use it. I keep telling myself that someday it may save my life. I couldnt afford the fancy helmets but I found one that is comfortable and functional while in my budget which was $100.00. It ended up being a steal from my Honda dealer as...
