That's what happened to me 4 or 5 months ago and I wondered about the gap too. The car bumper gave my L late a much needed clean and bumped into the tyre.
If she'd hit you a bit harder you would have gone into the path of the car coming from the right Though I see there was an ambulance nearby.

Re: arrow exhaust
Glad to hear you got it :) And I'm looking forward to some pics. Better tell the insurance company about it. I can't see why an after market exhaust would invalidate the warranty. As for cost: if I payed myself minimum wage for the hours I will have to spend keeping the original item rust free plus ...

Hmm. A PCX with only 95miles on the clock has just sold for £2000 on ebay.edscoot wrote:I took my scoot for a valuation at the dealers to help lower the insurance premium. A one year old PCX with full service history and 6500ish miles is worth £2000!

Re: found a used Jcoasta variator
Higher top speed isn't really as important, to me at least, as better acceleration in the 30 - 50mph range for getting past slower traffic more safely. I'd be interested to hear if any jcosta (or other make), owner has found any noticeable improvement in this respect.

Doesn't this risk damage to the fuel pump? Not certain, but it might.ese12105 wrote:Just go till you run out!

I hate being young. Im paying £500 fully comp with Lexham. Cant remember the excess though. Hopefully its alot cheaper come May when i hopefully (touch wood) have a years no claims. Still, its nothing compared to my car. £1600 for that TPFT. Your Golf isn't a GTi is it? I hate to think what you wou...

Re: UK Insurance suggestions please.
Was that a valuation as a trade in or to just buy it from you...? I'm guessing this is the price you would have to pay for a year old pcx. They looked it up in their Little Book of Trade. oh, i should have added, third party and on road parking insured, bumps the cost up a little, i miss my garage ...

UK Insurance suggestions please.
My insurance is coming up for renewal at the end of the month. I'm with Wicked Quotes. They're asking for £197 and £350 excess. I'm going to shop around for better and then see if they'll match it. Can anybody recommend their Insurance company for the the excellent service and the amazingly low pric...

I agree about the Integra's looks. The Silver Wing GT600 looks nice but we don't get it in the UK for some reason :? http://www.motosvet.com/portal/gallery/20090530194158_big_honda_silverwing_600gt_2010_09.jpg We only get the less glamourous non GT - http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/_assets/images...

Re: oxford htd grips
I've got those grips too. I've found that I still need bar muffs and my winter gloves (makes indicating easier with the muffs on for some reason). Now I can go for long rides in any weather, and my hands don't get cold or wet at all. Feet though, that's a different matter. Heated floor board things,...

I won't go out unless it's over 40F / 4.5C in the morning. Even then, it's usually up to 60F / 15.6C by the afternoon. 15.6C is summer daytime temps in the north of England. OP: I haven't been keeping track of my own mpg recently, but it will go down in the cold. My car will do 26-27mpg commuting i...

You could try here: http://www.hondascooterspares.co.uk/spares/modelImage.asp?modelID=12790&m=HONDA+PCX125&uid=0 I've just smashed a wing mirror and put a nasty hole in one of my panels. Totally my fault and I feel completely stupid for the way it happened too. I think I'll wait until the wi...

Re: Weather report
Can you take a pic each time you park there (where you got the ticket) and any signs that tell you to park there etc?
If they give you a fine for parking where your supposed to, ask them to tell you where you can park now without getting a ticket - and get in writing.
