i had a look at work today, RRP from Honda is £99 + VAT, your dealer pays a maximum of £70 +VAT so he isn't making a huge profit on that compared to something like say tyres where they make 100% + profit on them.

they are not welded in, they do have thread lock on them, i had to use an impact driver to break the seal, but then just a normal posh drive

ye, i agree with the cold. it's a noticeable drop but i think it will climb come the warmer months, also i would check to make sure your air filter isn;t too dirty. clogged filter = machine has to work harder

i warn you, Honda's uk warranty department is very good but slow. being a dealer for their power equipment i have to deal with them a lot, ppl don't know how to use lawnmowers even less than scooters :) it could take a month for your dealer to get the warranty acceptance, they probably won;t carry o...

holy shit, i should say thats covered under warranty, have the threads stripped out of the block? if not i would kick up a fuss with honda direct, get the number form your dealer, get onto customer relations and fight for it, they'll cover you and you might even get some freebies

it might just be that your tyres are showing wear, i got 5.5k out of my rear tyre before i needed to replace it

i second how to put the box on, at first it is really really tough, but when the rubber feet bed in it will become easier, i almost gave up on mine the first time i tried, but i am used to it and it is easier now

well atm this is all up in the air anyway, but if i am gonna be moving for good then i might as well go the whole hog and bring the lot over, but i would bet my first trip will only be the 3 months max stay i can do. and i refuse to ride a red or white pcx like the rest of you

say hello to Honda's stock tyres just go steady, my old 125's tyres were dreadfully slippy on wet roads yet the 100cc i had before that handled the same roads in worse conditions so much better, dimensions were the same so it could only really be the tyres

well the honda alarm is £100 but i should be able to get that cheaper, just need to find a honda OEM part number for it, need to call my dealer tomorrow so will ask them

ye thats right, for the look of it that plate bolts onto the top of your other plate and that locks your top box in place
