Re: Settling on a Givi B33, but one question...
Sorry for the confusion Kim, but the backrest alone is about $50. The box itself is $150, give or take. So $200 total for the slight occasion that my son is with me for a quick ride, so that he might be slightly more comfortable if he's back far enough to touch it, which he may never be. I may be an...

Settling on a Givi B33, but one question...
Anyone use a Givi trunk with a backrest? I'm only expecting my 11 y/o son to ride on the back on occasion, and I don't even know if he'd reach the trunk... but if he does is it worth the $50?

Re: fixing up cosmetics
www.partzilla.com seems to have a lot of parts available, don't know about the manual though. I'm getting three panels replaced for maybe $60-$70 total. Just contact them to make sure it's for the PCX150 and not the PCX125. I don't know if they're different, but the model numbers are.

Trunk width question
Hey guys, I'm looking to add a trunk and I'm trying to get an idea as to what size to get. I like the idea of a single-key system with the Honda, but I don't like the styling at all, so I'm looking at Givi's instead. Their Monolock series runs from 15" to about 22.5". At what point do you ...

Re: GMax Helmet
I've only been riding a week, and have both a full-face and 3/4. I've found that for any ride I know I'll do over 45 mph, the full-face is worth it. Already been hit twice in the neck with the 3/4, but with the full-face I find I tilt my head down just a bit to see how fast I'm going, and that seems...

Re: You're a biker? Questions, questions
I've been riding not even a week yet, after taking my safety course (with the only intent on getting a scooter, though who knows what the future will bring? ;)). I'm 44 with a wife and 11 y/o kid, my mom was almost as excited as I was in deciding to get one, it may have prompted my dad to finally ta...

Re: honda pcx...too nice??
Man, you have my condolences. Far worse than my wife's friend wanting to try out my 4 day old scoot and dumping it in some bushes. Very minor panel scrapes, but she's going to pay to have them replaced. The panels seem cheap, but the labor's gonna hurt I'm sure.

Re: Dowco or Nelson Rigg Cover? Other? Size?
I ordered the large Dowco 50012-00 from Amazon, and it fits fine, but I don't think it offers any protection other than from debris. Highly doubt it's rain or UV proof. Probably worth $2. But it fits and should accommodate a rear trunk.

Oh yeah Dan, don't get me wrong... I think it'd be a lot of fun for us too. But this was *my* toy that I saved up for, and then all my wife has to do is say, "I want one too." Hard to turn her down, so maybe she can have my PCX150 and I'll upgrade to the Forza!

Re: Curious...
A distant cousin came by the house a few years back on a Honda Goldwing, and I finally realised why people are attracted to riding motorcycles. Then I tried my uncle's scooter – maybe a Kymco or a Chinese brand - and fell in love. Way better than a mid-life crisis car! I took my motorcycle safety co...

Re: Adding Honda or Givi trunk on my own?
Pedro, that's a great looking clock, but unfortunately for me that's exactly where my RAM mount is to hold my phone for GPS use. I'm thinking an adhesive one might be the way I have to go. Also, thanks for advising the Honda is a Givi... that's probably what all go with - I really don't trust puttin...

Re: Adding Honda or Givi trunk on my own?
Looks great Pedro! Just curious... why the Honda case versus a Givi, which seems to be what I see more often here on the threads. Any particular reason? And do you find the windshield helps any? I haven't felt like I've needed one yet, but I've only got 100 miles on it so far. Oh, and how about a pi...

Thanks for the link – figured there was already a how-to process here. Looks *just* hard enough to let my dealer do it!

Adding Honda or Givi trunk on my own?
Hi all, pardon if this has been answered previously, but is the installation of the rear base mount and a trunk – be it Honda or Givi - easy enough to do on your own? Do you have to drill into the rear of the scooter, or is the mount more like a clamp? I'm already interested in getting one, but woul...
